The power of humour
I championed the use of ‘humour’ to spark consumer action in this campaign. My ‘dad joke’ concept for Bauer’s Father’s day social campaign was a huge success with brands running their own best dad joke competitions on their socials.
"We need a logo by tomorrow morning"
Last minute requests are all part of the job,
I worked on this logo below while live on teams with the stakeholders which for this brief really helped. You can see the selection process
down to the final design.
Fits to a T
The initial brief was to incorporate a celebrity endorsement but I also made a connection with the red T shaped cap which when pressed delivers the sports powder to the water bottle below. Connecting the red ‘T’ cap with the ‘SPORTCAP’ logo highlighted the USP of the brand.
Connecting with shared experiences
Tasked with creating an emotive mix of concepts for a focus group test, I looked at universal themes of gifting for difficult family members and being together at Christmas.
Getting creative in Lockdown
Campaigns needed to react quickly to changes in restrictions during the lockdowns. I gave ‘Bring your own magazine to the salon' a softer tone with the ‘BYO’ tag which all the magazines ran with.
